Here's a little more history about R4L!

To present God's Word to youth around the world, IBS developed the Reach 4 Life New Testament. It uses our English New International Version (NIV) New Testament. We collaborated with highly qualified writers for youth at Lux Verbi Publishers of South Africa to incorporate information on HIV/AIDS and notes relating key Scripture passages to youth and HIV issues.

Notes to Scripture explain God's plan for our lives and His desire and power to forgive us and to change our hearts, minds, and desires from within. The materials give solid guidance for receiving Jesus as Savior, connecting with a church, getting into Scripture, and leading a moral lifestyle. The spiritual guidance in the notes fits mainline Protestant traditions without any denominational bent.

Leading international experts on the HIV/AIDS epidemic have evaluated the book's content on HIV (the myths, the facts, avenues of infection, and impact upon one's life) and appreciate our straightforward approach and social-spiritual support for bringing about necessary changes in behavior and attitudes.
